Amsterdam dreams

For the second time this year, I visited Amsterdam. The first time I went was back in March, where I only managed to spend 5 hours wandering around the Rijks museum and Hard rock cafe before we were forced to head back to our coach. Although my time was so limited, I felt like I got a real sense of what The Netherlands was like; efficient, yet laid back. Vast, but littered with narrow streets. And of course, beautiful.  (Back in March, looking like a dork 😎) This time, I went with my best friend Annie. On the Sunday I headed down to London to stay with her and prepare for our journey on the Eurostar the next morning. The weather was great, blue skies and sunshine. Like any other holiday, it felt like forever getting through customs and passport checks before we got on the train.
